No. 1 shop is the first online supermarket in China. It was founded by Zhang Gang and Liu Junling, former world top 500 Dell executives, in Shanghai Zhangjiang Hi-Tech Park.
Prior to joining Dell, Yu was the vice president of Amazon's global supply chain. He transformed Amazon's supply chain and achieved great success; at Dell, he was responsible for $18 billion in procurement. Liu Junling was selected as the top ten financial figures of China's IT in 2005 and the top ten news figures of the computer world in 2006 [3] . The two of them lead the team, they can learn from each other, and they share the same values - bringing value to customers.
In July 2008, the website of No. 1 was officially launched. Since its establishment, No. 1 store has maintained a high-speed growth momentum, and achieved sales of 11.54 billion yuan in 2013. Shop No. 1 has become the largest B2C food e-commerce company in China.
By the end of 2013, No. 1 shop has sold 3.4 million SKUs, covering food and beverage, fresh food, imported food, beauty care, clothing and footwear, kitchen and toilet cleaning products, maternal and child supplies, digital mobile phones, household items, 14 categories of home appliances, health care equipment, computer office, luggage and jewelry watches, sports outdoor, gifts, etc. At the end of 2013, the No. 1 store had 57 million registered users and more than 15 million mobile-registered users.
